Elly has dedicated her personal life to fitness since she was a young gymnast. Her love of gymnastics and training led her on the transition from athlete to coach where she has been able to utilize her life- long experiences and her Eight Reps training skills. While enjoying a successful business career in London, Elly found the time to work out daily. It was this love of fitness and the combining of different training methods that enabled her to have her own home gym and run the Bahamas 1/2 marathon while living in the Bahamas with her husband and raising their four children. Elly has created and has a patenting pending on an innovate balance improvement and performance exercise device named the BalanceBand™ . The tool allows you to quickly and easily target and strengthen the exact muscles responsible for your balance; core, hips, legs, ankles, calves and feet. Exercising with the BalanceBand™ for minutes a day will retrain these muscles and will improve your posture, reduce back pain, and enhance performance. She continues to enjoy her love of fitness and helping others by participating in training and wellness assessments in the Chicago area. Certified as a Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise. Elly has the additional valuable certifications: Exercise is Medicine, Integrated Balance Training, Post Orthopedic Rehabilitation; Exercise is Medicine, Post Orthopedic Rehabilitation, The Arthritis Foundation Walk with Ease, Senior Speciality Fitness, Silver Sneakers and Group Strength and Exercise.
